2026 Competition Rules
Please read carefully and share with every performer, parent, and choreographer on your team. Dance-specific rules override common rules where they differ.
Safety Code — Strictly Enforced
No glass bangles, colors, confetti, grains, smoke, or flammable items (diyas, lights), and no other small or breakable objects are allowed on stage, backstage, or in the dressing rooms. Violations will be enforced without exception.
The India Festival Cultural Committee's decision is final in the case of any dispute, complaint, or controversy. Rules subject to committee discretion — waivers are exceptions, not general rules.
How to Apply
From application to stage — here's the path to performing.
Create an Account & Sign In
You'll need a free account to submit an application and access your Choreographer Dashboard.
Submit Your Application
Fill in your group details: team name, dance style, and your division (e.g. Junior), plus participant count and contact info.
Add Performers & Send Waivers
From your Dashboard, add each performer with name, date of birth, and parent/guardian email. Every participant who goes on stage must sign a digital waiver — parents/guardians sign for minors, and adult performers (18+) sign for themselves. Our system auto-emails each waiver for electronic signature.
Upload Your Song & Materials
Upload your performance song (MP3), group logo, and group picture via your Dashboard before the deadline.
Review & Approval — You're All Set
Our cultural committee reviews your submission and song (about 2–3 weeks). Once approved, you'll be confirmed to perform — see you on stage!
